My name is Justin Weiss, and I’m a Bay Area–born designer. My path into design started with graphic work in the music industry, where larger, interconnected projects pulled me toward systems thinking and eventually into UI, UX, and product design.
What I love most about design is something I learned from music: while it’s creative, there are correct answers. Notes either sound good together, or they don’t. A product either makes sense, or it doesn’t. I enjoy working in that space, where creativity is guided by measurable outcomes.
I have a dog named Apollo, and she’s out of her mind. Off the clock, I’m running her, working on personal design projects, writing songs, or going down an internet rabbit hole about space and the universe.
Design fascinates me because it’s about making the complex simple. I enjoy distilling complicated problems into solutions that are both clear and meaningful.
